Dr. Laxmi Kanta Mishra is a fully qualified Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is a board certified and has qualifications of M.Ch in Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Mishra, graduated from M.K.C.G Medical College, Brahmapur, Odisha and did Senior Register in the dept. of Plastic surgery of Dr. R. M. L. Hospital, New Delhi and then he has undergone Super speciality training in Plastic Surgery from V.M.M.C and SafdarJung Hosptal New Delhi, Following his Super speciality training, he was appointed as a Consultant in Department of Plastic and Reconstructive ,G.S. Memorial Hospital., Varanasi .Then he returned back to his own state Odisha and joined as associate professor and Head of the Department of cosmetic and plastic surgery SUM hospital Bhubaneswar till May 2010. Since then he has been appointed as Senior consultant in the department of Plastic and Cosmetic surgery of Apollo hospitals Bhubaneswar.
He has been awarded with prestigious Mother Teresa Award from Odisha Bliend Foundation in the year 2009. To rekindle his love and reinforce his skills in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, he travelled across the country to visit prominent plastic surgeons to understand the art & practice of cosmetic surgery in Indian scenario. In 2008, he has attended the International conference in the Institute of Plastic & Reconstructive at the Chang gung memorial Hospital Taipei, Taiwan . Then on 2009 he has attended another international conference at Fortaleza , Brazil. Dr. Mishra has a special interest in Aesthetic surgery of the Face, Cosmetic Breast Surgery, Body Contouring & Hair Restoration surgery. He is a member of the Association of Plastic and hand Surgeons of India, and also in Indian Medical Association.
